Richard L. "Billy Rae" Thomas, Jr.

Richard L. "Billy Rae" Thomas Jr., 54, of Hunker, passed away on Thursday December 16, 2021. He was born on September 2, 1967 in Greensburg, the son of Carol (Reagan) Thomas-Showman and the late Richard Thomas Sr. Billy Rae worked as a Dispatch Supervisor for Energy Transport LLC. in Eighty-Four, Pa. He was also a member of the Hempfield Hunt Club. He is survived by his mother, Carol and her husband, Kenneth Showman of New Stanton; his sons, Richard J. Thomas (Andrea) of Turbotville, Koty A L Thomas (fiancé Madison Wanner) of Jeannette and Dakoma Patrick Thomas (girlfriend Angelina Deangelis) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Simeon, Ada, Rosaline and Scarlett; sister, Terri Wolfe (boyfriend Paul Wolfe) of Ruffsdale; brother, Brian Thomas of Jeannette; his special niece, Tiera Sacco (John), nephews Joe Marincic and Michael Kauffman. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 20, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM in the C. Richard McCauley Funeral Home Inc. 101 S 4th Street, Youngwood. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, from 10-11 AM with a service to follow, in the funeral home.
